Materials & Military Operations
Elinor Coatings invites you to join us in Fargo, North Dakota, in February for the Cold Weather Readiness Summit, a technical meeting dedicated to the urgent need for research and support to prevent corrosion and extend the capabilities to operate in arctic conditions.
Our central theme explores two key questions: How can we better prepare for cold weather, and what obstacles hinder our readiness? Together, we will discuss the issues that increase the risk of failure in harsh conditions and identify actionable strategies to overcome these challenges.
Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to experience firsthand the effects of extremely cold weather and connect with industry experts dedicated to enhancing our preparedness for these tough environments.
Additionally, this summit offers opportunities for attendees to learn about capabilities in advanced materials development in the northern plains region, including basic research, product development, manufacturing, testing and field trials for ground, maritime and aviation applications. Time and space has been reserved to schedule meetings with one another to discuss key takeaways and further explore relevant topics.
Don’t miss this chance to collaborate, learn, and contribute to our collective resilience against cold weather challenges.

WELCOME
TO
FARGO-MOORHEAD
The F-M metro area--comprised of Fargo and West Fargo, North Dakota, and their neighbor across the Red River, Moorhead, Minnesota-- is located 3.5 hours drive northwest of Minneapolis and 3 hours drive south of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Often known for our extremely cold winters and our midwestern down-to-earth practicality, we're used to the anonymity of our "flyover" status and the dated references to the movie or TV show Fargo as the primary conversation starter for those who have never been here.
But much like the middle child in a family full of chaos, we also thrive in our ability to forge our own way, adapt to our environment and unassumingly conquer obstacles that others find overwhelming. Our city motto is "North of Normal."
So, if it's your first time to Fargo in February, welcome!
We hope it's the coldest you've ever been, so the warm welcome you experience is that much more impactful.
