About the Company
Elinor Coatings creates solutions for corrosion, degradation, and fouling through research in surface protection. This role will support a team of researchers developing protective and anti-corrosion coatings for U.S. Department of Defense aerospace, maritime, and ground vehicle support. Interns report to the Program Manager.
Internship Duties
Support and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and systems.
Assist with troubleshooting issues and providing end-user technical support
Assist with inventory & organization IT hardware resources
Implementing and supporting networked lab equipment
Effectively and professionally document service desk requests
Provide technical support to end-users and complete special projects as assigned
Assist with company policy reviews of cybersecurity protocols
Participate in CMMC compliance implementation
Assist with cybersecurity training for all staff
Identify cybersecurity measures that can be improved and provide suggestions for improvement
Participate in meetings and reports when appropriate
Learn basic principles of CMMC
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
College student (Junior, Senior, or Graduate) or recent graduate by the time you begin your internship
Major in field of IT or Computer Science
Oral and written communication skills to enable working with multi-disciplinary groups of individuals with diverse backgrounds
Classification
10-20 hours/weekly during school year
20-30 hours/weekly during summer
