The American Coatings Show in Indianapolis has been a cornerstone event for our team for years. We have always valued the opportunity to walk the floor, connect with colleagues, and discover the latest trends shaping our industry. However, the 2026 show marked a major milestone for us. For the first time, Elinor Coatings and our division, the Aurora Center for Extreme Weather Materials, shifted from long-time attendees to first-time exhibitors.
Setting up our booth on the exhibit floor was an incredibly proud moment. It gave us a dedicated space to showcase our specialized work in protective coatings for machinery and high-performance applications. For this event, our main focus was showcasing Aurora and our extreme weather testing capabilities. Being an exhibitor allowed us to bring that expertise to the forefront and share our advancements directly with engineers, manufacturers, and industry leaders.
Having the Aurora Center co-host the booth meant we could highlight our complete range of capabilities. We had fantastic conversations about the unique challenges of protecting equipment in harsh environments and how our custom coating solutions are engineered to extend the service life of critical machinery. It was rewarding to discuss the real-world applications of our research and see the immediate interest from professionals facing these specific operational challenges.
Transitioning from attendees to exhibitors completely changed our experience at the show. We went from seeking out information to being a destination for others looking for innovative industrial solutions. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to chat and learn more about our work.
If we missed you in Indianapolis, there are still plenty of ways to connect. Keep an eye on our website for updates on our upcoming projects and the latest news from the Elinor Coatings and Aurora Center teams.
